B2B fintech copywriting is its own discipline. It’s technically specific, audience-segmented, and relentlessly constrained. Writing for Plaid meant all three simultaneously. The work centered on partner story campaigns for clients including Carvana, Rocket Companies, and PredictionStrike. The copy had to translate complex fintech infrastructure—instant payment rails, real-time asset verification, identity verification and fraud reduction—into language that made the business case immediately clear to a reader who had three seconds to decide whether to keep scrolling. It also required understanding not just what Plaid does, but what each partner built with it and why that outcome mattered to the next buyer in line.
