Waxing the City is a brand that has figured out exactly who it is—which makes writing for it harder, not easier. The voice is nuanced, the humor is specific, and the line between landing it and losing it is razor thin. This work required getting the words not just right but instinctively right, then knowing exactly how much further to past the line we could take them.
